Description:
Panels have a maximum rib height of 1" and are available in 12”, 16” and 18” widths. The standard panel horizontal section is flat. Minor ribs are available in the flat at no additional charge. Panels are fastened with a concealed integral panel fastening flange and fasteners. Fastener spacing varies based on specific roof application and local building requirements.
Application:
The recommended panel application is on a minimum roof slope of 3/12 over 5/8” plywood or OSB substrate with a moisture barrier of 30# felt. The panels can also be installed over open framing, call Technical Assistance for review of specific project conditions.
Material:
The Panels are continuously factory roll formed from 24 gauge G90 galvanized steel with a selection of 28 colors in Kynar500® / Hylar5000® paint finishes. Also available in Galvalume Plus. Panels are formed free of oil canning. Oil canning resulting from uneven substrates, improper fastening, and/or thermal expansion is not a cause for panel rejection.
Options:
Panel eave ends can be factory prepared for easy field hemming providing additional weather protection and a tailored edge appearance.
Pipe flashing kits including boot, gasket, screws and tube sealant are available for openings from 1/4" to 18”. System: For a complete roof system, panels are recommended for use with only easyroof trim assemblies, transitions, accessories, and according to recommended installation procedures.
